Beta notice

VaultPouch is currently in beta. These terms govern your use of the beta product. Some features described in these terms may not yet be available. We will update these terms as the product develops.

1. Who we are

VaultPouch is a trading name of VaultPouch Ltd, a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales (Company No. 17300631). Our registered office is at Flat 173, Uncle Apartments, 3 Park Lane, Wembley, England, HA9 7FN. You can contact us at hello@vaultpouch.com.

2. What VaultPouch does

VaultPouch is a financial technology platform designed to help UK private renters manage their tenancy deposits. Our platform allows tenants to: create a digital wallet for their deposit funds, complete identity verification and Right to Rent checks, generate a Deposit Passport that can be shared with landlords and letting agents, and track their deposit status across multiple tenancies.

VaultPouch does not currently hold deposit funds directly. During the beta period, wallet funding and fund management features are not yet active. These features will be enabled when VaultPouch completes its regulatory authorisation process.

3. Your account

To use VaultPouch, you must create an account. You must be 18 years of age or over. You must be a UK resident with a legal right to rent property in England. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your password or allow anyone else to access your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@vaultpouch.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Founder Pass membership

The VaultPouch Founder Pass is a one-time payment of £49.00 that grants lifetime membership with the benefits stated at the time of purchase. Payment is processed by Stripe and is non-refundable except where required by UK consumer law. Founder Pass benefits will be delivered when the relevant product features launch. By purchasing a Founder Pass, you accept that some benefits may not be immediately available and will be delivered on a rolling basis as features go live.

VaultPouch Ltd is not currently VAT registered. No VAT is charged on Founder Pass purchases.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use VaultPouch to provide false identity information or impersonate another person. You agree not to attempt to circumvent our identity verification or fraud detection systems. You agree not to use VaultPouch for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the VaultPouch platform or its underlying infrastructure.

6. Identity verification and data

As part of onboarding, VaultPouch requires identity verification using a government-issued document and a biometric selfie check, processed by Persona (withpersona.com), our regulated identity verification partner. You consent to your identity document and biometric data being processed by Persona as described in our Privacy Policy. VaultPouch stores a cryptographic fingerprint (hash) of your identity details to prevent duplicate accounts. We do not store images of your identity documents.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid to VaultPouch in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email to the address registered on your account. Continued use of VaultPouch after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
